Attorney Dennis A. Davenport brings nearly twenty-five years of experience to his practice in the areas of probate and wills, municipal law, property tax appeals and general litigation. He has earned bar admissions from Georgia, the U.S. District Court Northern District of Georgia, the U.S. Court of Appeals 11th Circuit, the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Georgia. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law in Athens, GA in 1993 as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgia State University with a major in political science.
Mr. Davenport is a past winner of the Chet Wells Award for Exemplary Service from the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the Metro Fayette Kiwanis Club as well as the Ethics Committee of Piedmont Fayette Hospital and is a past Chairman of the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce. In addition, Mr. Davenport belongs to the Fayette County Bar Association and the City Attorney Section of the Georgia Municipal Association for which he is a past President and is also a State Hearing Officer for the Georgia Department of Revenue.
